Hi, i put yesterday new clutch springs in the innova engine, but i notice that there was a litle bit clearance on the crank bearings, not much.. I must push hard up and down too feel a bit.. I now that some bearings need a bit clearance so i checked my second engine and that was the same..

So is this normal? Dont want to open the engine for nothing

And i now that c3 c4 c5 bearings have more clearance than c1/c2? Does someone now wich type the innova got? Or does someone now what clearance the innova may have?

One engine have 13000km and the other one has 23000km..

The bearings must have a minor clearance axial and radial in their seats.
If you can hardly feel it it’s ok.
The clearance is intended to give crank and conrod the chance to find it’s perfect sweetspot.
There where some discussions here with some members suggesting to reduce the clearing by using shims, but this is certainly not indended by Honda and contraproductive.

Thx dons, thats what i thougt, if its half warm there is a bit more radial clearance, cold is it hard too feel but i feel it

Left and right crankbearings are different ones.
You can check this by parts list number.

And theres no inscription of what it is exactly in C....

Only numbers to keep them from wrong Position.
